Our training curriculum is founded on three core competency units that form the base for deeper conversations and educational opportunities.

Utilizing the framework of these core competency units, trainees learn about resources and actions they can take to be allies and advocates for LGBTQ+ and intersectional marginalized community members. While many-faceted, our training provides a basis for addressing four pillars of concern facing the LGBTQ+ community.

Safe Zone aims to provide training and resources specifically to small businesses that may lack other educational resource opportunities. However, Safe Zone happily partners with businesses of all sizes who wish to provide safe spaces for members of the LGBTQ+ community in Utah.
